  • CISSA World Wetland Day Seminar, Poster Competition on February 9

    THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
    The Centre for Innovation in Science and Social Action (CISSA), supported by Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), is organising World Wetland Day 2019 Celebrations on February 9, 2019, at the Department of Zoology, Mahatma Gandhi College, Kesavadasapuram, Thiruvananthapuram.

    The programme comprises a Poster Making Competition for College Students, Poster Exhibition and Seminar on the theme ‘Mangrove Forests of Kerala: Status and Threats, with special reference to Climate change’. The theme for poster making competition is Wetlands: Status and Challenges.
    CISSA has requested colleges to nominate students to participate in the poster making competition. Also, teachers and students who are interested in participating in the seminar may get in touch via email (cissabiodiversity@gmail.com) or phone (9895375211). Registrations would start at 9.30 am on the day of the event. There is no registration fee.
