    KOCHI:
    “The problems and grievances in the real estate and construction sectors in Kerala will be resolved soon” remarked Vishwas Mehta, Chief Secretary, Govt of Kerala. He was inaugurating the virtual dialogue program organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Kerala State Council in association with CREDAI Kerala on the topic of effortless business in the real estate and construction sectors.

    ‘The good deeds done by the government to overcome adverse conditions often go unnoticed. It is easy to blame. The real estate sector is one of the most challenging sectors in the state. The real estate sector is also a major contributor to the economy of Kerala.’ Vishwas Mehta said that Kerala, which has many positive factors, should take advantage of them. Without investment and plans, Kerala can no longer move forward. Kerala is ahead of any other state in terms of resources. But the Chief Secretary reminded that we should be able to take advantage of all this.

    “RERA’s web portal will be operational in Kerala soon and more than 50% of the work has been completed”, said P H. Kurian, Chairman, RERA Kerala. Efforts to address concerns related to Building Rules will be intensified, added RERA Chairman. M.G. Rajamanikyam, Managing Director, KSIDC and Mir Muhammadali,
    Director, Kerala Coastal Zone Management Authority also addressed the gathering.

    S. Krishnakumar, Chairman, Credai Kerala delivered the introductory speech. FICCI Kerala state council, Co-Chairs Deepak L Aswani rendered welcomed address and Dr M I Sahadulla, vote of thanks. Credai Kerala Convener General, Raghuchandran Nair and Credai National Joint Secretary, Dr. Najeeb Zakaria were the moderators of the
    sessions. Mrigendra Lal, Chief General Manager, SBI, Ameeth Raja, Head Operations – Tamil Nadu and Kerala, CBRE and R Nagaraj, Vice President, CREDAI South & Chairman, Zonasha Projects and MV Antony, Secretary General, Credai Kerala also spoke.
