The three-day Technical Fest Medha’21 organized by Cochin University Student’s union came to an end. Vice Chancellor Dr K.N. Madhusoodanan inaugurated the fest at a function presided over by university union Chairman Abhishek E. Shaji. Registrar Dr V. Meera, Syndicate Member Prajul K.V. and union executive member Agna Prem spoke at the function held at Seminar complex last Friday.
Day one of the fest consisted of a discussion led by Shreechithran on ‘What is equality’, ‘Various self-defence techniques for girls’, a workshop on ‘Machine Learning’ and a panel discussion on ‘Farmers’ Law’. ‘Student battalion Formation’, lectures on ‘The science of time management’, workshops on ‘Constitution and federalism in new liberal era’, ‘Machine learning’, ‘Mobile app development’, ‘Rapid Prototyping’ and ‘Embeded systems and IOT’ were conducted on the second day.
The fest concluded on the third day with events like ‘Student Battalion Training’, lecturers on ‘Power Communication Infrastructure and Knowledge Society’ and workshop on ‘Carbon neutral campus’. About 500 students participated in the knowledge festival. There were about seventeen events in Medha’21 which were well organized by the students’ union.
