

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The Overseas Keralites Investment and Holding Ltd. (OKIH) has signed an agreement with KIIFB to assist development of RestStop, wayside amenities,centers at 30 locations across Kerala with a projected investment of Rs. 1,000 crores. KIIFB will utilise their domain expertise for the efficient project management of the development, within prescribed time limit and cost and adhering to the global standards.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Dr. K. M. Abraham, CEO, KIIFB, between Dr.Baju George, MD, OKIH and S. J. Vijayadas, Chief of Projects, KIIFB. Senior officials of both the organisations were present in this strategic event held at KIIFB office.
Meanwhile, OKIH Board meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, directed to start development at both Chertalai and Thalappadi for RestStop centers. The authorised capital of the company was increased to Rs.45 crores to facilitate rapid development.
