  • Nayanthara to be the Face for Tata Sky in South India

    KOCHI:
    Tata Sky, India’s leading content distribution platform providing Pay TV and OTT services has signed superstar Nayanthara as face of the brand for the Southern markets.
    The latest campaign with the southern superstar is a simple yethumorous ad film – a tone well associated with Tata Sky. The new campaign is targeted to accelerate the brand’s presence in DAS IV markets. The campaign is rolled out in four Southern languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada targeting 64 million TV households across the Southern states.
    In the 360-degree campaign Nayanthara features as a small-town girl running a small outlet, selling Tata Sky’s South Special pack. She is shown as a person fed up of collecting and handing out Rupee 1 coins as change for the South Special pack priced at Rs. 229. This unique pack loaded with over 220 channels and services includes the best of entertainment across genres.
    Tata Sky’s Chief Communications Officer Malay Dikshit said, “We are delighted to have Nayanthara as an endorser for Tata Sky. Her bold personality, artistic talentand popularity which spans across states is a perfect fit with Tata Sky as a brand. With the ad scripts tailormade to bring out her versatility, we strongly feel that Tata Sky subscribers and her fans would smile and have fun seeing her performance.”
    Superstar Nayanthara said, ‘It is an honour and privilege to be associated with Tata Sky, which is the country’s leading content distribution platform.     Tata Sky is the fastest growing DTH player in the Southern market due to its innovative offerings and unmatched bouquet of channels across South Indian languages. Tata Sky currently has over 600 channels and services along with a 24×7 call center in 14 languages.
    Tata Sky has also roped in legend Amitabh Bachchan to feature in the same campaign targeted to the other states in India.
