Apollo Adlux Hospital, Angamaly inaugurated a new state-of-the-art Prostate Clinic on Tuesday, September 10. The Prostate Clinic, led by the expert Urology and Andrology Department, offers a wide range of services, including consultation and advanced treatment approaches for all prostate-related conditions, such as prostatitis, prostate cancer, and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).
The clinic, equipped at Apollo Adlux Hospital, was inaugurated by Roji M. John, MLA, and the event was presided over by Baiju Menachery, Secretary, Angamaly Press Club. Sudarshan B, CEO, Apollo Adlux Hospital, Dr. Shuhaib Khader, COO, Dr Remesh Kumar R, DMS, Dr. Roy P. John, Senior Consultant, Department of Urology and Andrology, Dr Pillai Biju Sukumaran, Senior Consultant, Department of Urology, and Dr Saju Samuel, Medical Superintendent were the chief guests. “Apollo Adlux Hospital has introduced this clinic in response to the increasing number of people affected by prostate-related diseases,” said Sudarshan B, CEO. And, Dr. Roy P. John highlighted the importance of regular prostate-related tests for individuals over 50 years of age.
On the opening day, the clinic provided free medical consultations and special rates for check-ups for individuals over 50 years of age. The clinic also offers free registration, free doctor consultations, a 50% discount on the screening package, and a 10% discount on in-patient services (for self-pay patients, excluding the cost of medicine, implants, and consumables). These offers are valid until September 19, 2024. The screening package, originally priced at ₹2,680, is available at a discounted price of Rs 999/-. The clinic will operate from Monday to Saturday.
