    THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has invited applications for its Startup Community Partner Development Programme (SCPDP), an initiative aimed at creating an inclusive startup ecosystem in the State.
The SCPDP will act as a catalyst to connect the whole system from students, professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators and investors et al. The focus is to establish a strong chain of voluntary organisations/individuals, who work for creating capacity building in the State.
Last date of application for the programme is on March 9. The programme aims at organising the start up communities from different sectors of the society within one network.
This will enable a focused growth in the startup ecosystem. The KSUM has several schemes, which connect the students across the State, and the linkage with the community partners can increase the reach and effectiveness of the same.
Students will be able to associate with the community partner to update the technology skills by participating in the open forum discussions, technology workshops, seminars and meet the mentor sessions etc. They will also be given the opportunity to work on their innovative projects. Mentorship will be made available instantly by the KSUM through the community partners.
The organisation or the community should have been in existence for one year to join the programme. Non-profit organisations are eligible for community grant. The mission and vision of community partners should be in lines with entrepreneurship development.
The community partner’s events should carry the logo of the KSUM on approval and it can associate with the KSUM in implementing the projects. The KSUM shall include the community partner to their website.
Community partners can bring in proposals, which can add value to startup ecosystem.
