

KOCHI:
P S Mission Hospital in collaboration with Aster Medcity initiates the Accident and Emergency Department at their hospital with the aim of providing quality healthcare services. The Department has been functioning since the 5th of this month. Additionally, Aster Medcity will also ensure the services of their expert doctors for critically ill patients attending the Emergency Department in P S Mission Hospital.
The Emergency Department can refer critically ill patients to Aster Medicity for immediate care and further treatment can also be done at P S Mission Hospital. There are experienced doctors from Aster available 24 hours a day in the Emergency Department. The unit is designed to treat 16 patients at a time.
The Emergency Department will also be equipped with Urology, Interventional Radiology and Interventional Cardiology with an advanced cathlab facility from Aster Medcity by the end of the month.
