  • CADD Centre Offers Free Engineering Skill Development Training

    THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
    CADD Centre Training Services Private Limited, one the world’s leading training networks headquartered in Chennai, will offer free engineering skill development training to 500 flood-affected students from across Kerala. The course, which normally costs Rs 20,000 per student, will be offered free of cost, thereby helping CADD Centre to contribute Rs 1 Crore worth of training to flood hit students.

    Besides this, CADD Centre’s operations team, together with its business partners and students contributed Rs 5 lakh worth of aid, including cash as well as relief material, and also directly supported the flood relief camps in Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta.

    “As part of our efforts to help the Kerala youth to re-build their careers, we are delighted to offer Free Training to 500 flood affected students on any CADD Centre Course of their choice at any of our centres in Kerala. CADD Centre’s courses in CAD/CAM/CAE, Creative Design, Project Management, Fashion Design are popular amomg students and enable them find job openings quickly in India, Middle East, Africa, Australia and the USA. Each course is worth Rs 20,000 and in our own little way, CADD Centre wishes to help Kearla spring back to normalcy,” said Parthasarathy, Chairman, CADD Centre.

    “I spent my formative years – upto High School – in Thiruvananthapuram. It is a matter of great honour and satisfaction for me to be back here and do what we can to help the students of Kerala”, he added.

    Under this initiative, each CADD Centre location in Kerala has been allotted 10 seats. We do invite the students to contact the nearest of our 50 centres and we look forward to enrolling them, he added. Parthasarathy met with Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan and personally handed over the Offer Document in this regard, on October 3, 2018.

    CADD Centre has operations in 785 locations in 30 countries. Over the last 30 years, CADD Centre has shaped the lives and careers of 15 lakh students! Kerala, with 100% literacy, has passionate youngsters with high career aspirations. CADD Centre has 53 outlets in Kerala – right from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod.

    Students in ongoing courses in any Kerala college in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical streams in Engineering or Diploma will be eligible for this free training. Enrolled students would be provided printed Courseware, Technical Training, Practical Training, Extra Practise Sessions, Project Guidance and Placement Assistance. Successful candidates will get Course Completion Certificate. Partially affected students can also avail this scheme with 50% Flood Relief Scholarship. The last date for registration is October 31, 2018.
