Pananagad police registered a case against director Lal’s son Jean Paul and three others in connection with passing lewd comments to an actress when she asked for her remuneration.
The case was filed against the filmmaker, Jean Paul, co-star Sreenath Bhasi and technicians Anirudh and Anoop. The actress, who was part of the Honey Bee 2: Celebrations, went to a hotel and asked for her remuneration and they refused to pay.
The incident happened in November 2016. The case was filed at Panangad police station as the incident happened at a hotel in the jurisdiction of Panangad police.
