    NEW DELHI:
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading IT services, consulting, business solutions and outsourcing firm, witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 220 students across 65 schools at the Delhi edition of its flagship annual quiz, TCS InQuizitive. The event, which was open to students from classes 8 to 12, showcased the intellectual prowess of the city’s youth.

After five intense rounds of quizzing at the regional finals held on Saturday at Dogra Hall, IIT Campus, 17-year-old Khushmeet Narwal from DAV Public School in Sector 49, Gurgaon emerged as the winner. Apratirath Shukla, 15, from Venkateshwar International School, New Delhi, secured the runner-up position. The two students will now represent Delhi in the National Finals, competing with champions from 11 other regions from across India. The prizes were distributed by the Chief Guest, Prof. Preeti Ranjan Panda – Dean, Corporate Affairs, IIT Delhi, Guest of Honor, Prof. Rajendra Singh, Associate Dean IRD, IIT Delhi, along with Ms. Seema Mehra, VP and Business Head ERU & LSHC, APAC, and MEA, TCS and MR. S K Nair – Head Administration – Delhi Branch, TCS.

Prof. Rajendra Singh, Associate Dean IRD, IIT Delhi said “The event was highly engaging, testing students’ knowledge in current global affairs, and the latest technology trends. The participants who excelled in the TCS InQuizitive quiz competition are truly exceptional and have a promising future ahead. Whether they choose to pursue engineering, science, or mathematics, we would be delighted to welcome these talented students to IIT Delhi.”

Seema Mehra, VP and Business Head ERU & LSHC, APAC and MEA, said “Truly inspiring to be here among the youth, the future of our generation, and witness their participation in the quiz. The questions were quite challenging, yet it was thrilling to see students confidently hit the buzzer and answer before the question was even completed. TCS has always encouraged young talent and want to inculcate technology and inquisitiveness in children. This is one way of our contribution towards the larger society and the next generation.”

TCS InQuizitive is an innovative learning initiative designed to enhance curiosity and awareness among students in fields such as information technology, science, sports, engineering, and art. There is no entry fee for participation.
