Environmentalist C R Neelakandan said that the arrest of Dr Jacob Vadakkanchery proves that the Government was denying the freedom of speech.
Protesting against the arrest of Vadakkanchery, Neelakandan said that there are several mechanism before the government to prove that the statement of Vadakkanchery against the preventive medicine for leptospirosis. It is a fascist approach of the government to arrest people who speaks against the government.
