  • Great Mid-Size Workplaces: H&R Block at Technopark Ranked First in India

    THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
    Global consumer tax services provider H&R Block, which has a major centre in Technopark here, has been ranked first in the ‘Great Mid-Size Workplaces’ category in the country by Great Place to Work Institute, a global organisation that evaluates workplace culture.

    The US-headquartered company was selected for the prestigious honour considering its commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment as well as CSR initiatives.

    Apart from India, H&R Block has also offices in Ireland, Canada, and Australia. Technopark team comprising of Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd), CEO and other officials, visited H&R Block facility and congratulated the company’s leadership team & all employees on their commendable achievement.

    Mr Hari Prasad KP, VP & Managing Director, H&R Block India, said the company is proud to build a workplace where everyone feels valued, cared, respected, empowered, and free to be their best selves.

    “We are honoured to be ranked as India’s first great place to work and the recognition is a true testament to the incredible teamwork and dedication of our associates.     As part of its CSR initiatives, H & R Block has constructed 10 houses in Kerala and handed over them to the beneficiaries.

    H&R Block offers both retail tax and online tax services. The company’s Global Technology Center (GTC) in Technopark provides both IT and IT-enabled services.

    The CEO of Technopark lauded the efforts of H&R Block in ensuring a sound work life balance in their organisation along with the penchant for serving the society with their deeply committed CSR initiatives as well. He added that it’s an apt recognition for the firm’s striving efforts to bring out the best results and create a great milieu at the workplace.
