THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
SMSS Hindu Mahila Mandiram, Poojappura, one of Kerala’s oldest women welfare and charity organisation, has announced a free job training programme for women below the poverty line as part of its empowerment initiatives during its centenary year.
Under the programme, hands-on training will be imparted in job-oriented skills such as stitching, production of cloth and paper bag, jewellery craft, lotion mixing and detergent and incense stick making. The programme will be conducted from January 1 to 15 at 10 am.Those who are in the age group of 19 to 50 can attend.
