  • International Chamber for Indian Music and Culture Launched

    KOCHI:
    Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi affiliated and Kerala based Parakkadathu Koyickal Trust has taken innovativesteps to promote Indian Carnatic Music, Dance, Veena, Violin, Art & Literature Artists and empower NRI and Domestic artist internationally. It will be beneficial for both NRI and Domestic Artists, Said by Sajith Kumar P K, the Settlor and International Co-ordinator of the Trust.

    The International Chamber for Indian Music & Culture has been officially inaugurated jointly by Padmsri K G Jayan (Jaya-Vijaya) and Sri. Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma, Board Member of Kendra Sangeeth Natak Akademi, during the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Trust at Kalikkotta Palace, Tripunithura, Kerala. Padmabhooshan Dr. T V Gopalakrishnan is the Patron of the International Chamber and Padmasri K G Jayan (Jaya-Vijaya), Sri. Tripunithura N Radhakrishnan and Sri. Nedumangad Sivanandan are in the Chief Advisory Board of the International Trust.

    The Trust has appointed Rajmohan Varma as Vice-Chairman and appointed Head of the Departments ripunithura K R Chandramohan for Music (Vocal), Devi Vasudevan Namboothiri for Veena, Edappally Jayamohan for Violin, Tripunithura K Kannan for Percussion and Dr. Jayaprakasha Sharma for Art
    and Literature respectively, said, Sreedevi Varma, President of Parakkadathu Koyickal Trust.

    For the past 10 consecutive years, the Trust was conducting major Carnatic Classical Music concerts including 12 Hours International Ganesha Sangeethotsavam for the past 3 years in Hybrid mode (Physical & Online) by providing opportunities international artists from more than 10 countries concerts in virtual mode. Every Year Parakkadathu Koyickal Trust is honouring Music Maestros by awarding TRIPUNITHURA AASTHANA VIDWAN PURASKARAM. The trust has started its Medical Division, Service Division and Technical Division as a part of its Vision 2030, said by Sanjay Varma, General Convener of the Trust.
