By NE Reporter on April 4, 2020

    KOCHI:
Jyothy Labs Ltd (JLL), one of India’s leading FMCG companies, announced the launch of Margo Hand Wash, adding another product to its Margo portfolio. The company first made its foray into the fast-growing liquid hand wash market in early January this year and has seen its sales numbers grow steadily for the product.

Margo Hand Wash comes with the goodness of 1000 neem leaves offering 99.9% germ protection. With every wash one can expect a totally clean and soft feel on hands. The company has also offered a discount on the product from Rs. 85 to Rs. 60 for a 200 ml bottle in order to make it affordable to the growing number of people who are using the hand wash in wake of COVID-19 outbreak.

Speaking on launch of the product, Jyothy MR, Managing Director, Jyothy Labs Limited said, “Margo hand wash is a natural extension of the brand in the hand wash space given the natural antibacterial efficacy of neem. The category is projected to grow in double digits, and we believe the brand’s unparalleled neem equity will naturally attract consumers to try the product. We intend to expand the offering in other markets soon.”

On the discount she added, “With this launch, we aim to provide our customers with a hand wash at an affordable price and help improve the hygiene level with the antibacterial qualities of neem. Witnessing the current situation, we have cut down the price of the product temporarily so that more and more people can benefit.”

Margo Hand wash is latest addition to the Margo portfolio including Margo Original Neem, which has been trusted for over 100 years as the natural skin cleanser with goodness of 1000 neem leaves and Vitamin E for added moisturizing, Margo Glycerine, a skin cleanser with the unique fusion of 1000 neem leaves and pure Gylcerine and Margo Face Wash, India’s first neem paste face wash made from handpicked crushed neem leaves offering a deep cleansing experience along with maintaining skin’s natural moisture balance.
