KOCHI:
Kochouseph Chittilappilly, the founder and Chairman of K Chittilappilly Foundation delivered the K Chittilappilly Foundation education Excellency awards for government/aided school students.
200 students from 25 selected schools received awards in the function held at Ernakulum Kaloor renewal centre. As part of the program, the young writer and motivational trainer Sahla Parveen lead class for the students. Sheela Kochouseph, Managing director of V Star Creations, Dr. George Sleeba, Excecutive Director of KCF and Jacob Kuruvila, Additional director of KCF also attended the function.
Five students each from classes 5 to 12 are considered for the awards based on their academic performance. The awards to students from classes 5 to 9 was given at their respective schools. And also 5 students each from classes 5 to 10 who belong to economically backward families will get sponsorship for studies.
Apart from educational welfare activities, KCF actively involves in helping treatment of poor patients and house building for poor families. The foundation is headquartered at Kakkanad. The foundation was a mark of the stepping of Kochouseph Chittilappilly from business activities to charity. The foundation will undertake more socially relevant initiatives in the upcoming years.
