The city is all set to welcome 30 bloggers from various countries across the globe as a part of the fifth edition of Kerala Blog Express.
The bloggers, who have embarked on a journey across Kerala, will engage in various activities as a part of the visit to imbibe the rich tradition and heritage of the city that boasts features from delicious Malabar cuisine to the ancient Kalari tradition. The team will take in the beauty of the famed Mittayi Theruv and will be given a tour of the city in autorickshaws.They will also be part of a painting activity organized by Compassionate Kozhikode.
Kerala Tourism will organize a kite-flying event in association with One India Kite Team for the visiting bloggers, in which they will be given training for kite-flying. The event, which will be guided by One India Kite Team national coach Hashim Kadakalakam, SajidThoppil and M. Fahim, will be held on March 25Sunday, at 4 PM near the Kozhikode Kite Beach Open Stage. District Collector U.V. Jose will be participating in the event alongside tourism officials and eminent sports persons.
The bloggers will also get to experience an Oppana performance, which will be hosted at Raviz Kozhikkode.They will get a chance to witness and take part in Kalari performances at the famous C V N Kalari Academy following which they will indulge in a scenic boat ride across the Kadalundi river.The team will also pay a visit to the famous Beypore Shipyard.
Kerala Blog Express aims to spread the culture and tradition of the state to aspiring travelers around the world. The entire experience of the journey will be documented by the bloggers and photos, videos and articles will be shared among their followers across the world.
The fifth edition of Kerala Blog Express was flagged off from the state capital on March 18. Bloggers will travel across various cities documenting the entire journey covering hills, beaches, backwaters, villages and city life experiences. The globally-acclaimed bloggers will be sharing photos, videos and articles reflecting the culture, tradition and lifestyle of Kerala and its natural beauty.
The 28 bloggers participating in the fifth edition of Kerala Express hail from various countries around the globe including France, America, U.K., Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, Venezuela, and Peru.
