The upcoming Kerala Technology Expo (KTX Global 2025) can earn Kozhikode an important place on the world IT map, according to District Collector Snehil Kumar Singh.
The three-day event in the city next month can boost an ecosystem suitable for information technology in the entire Malabar region, he said on Saturday night while releasing the brochure of KTX Global 2025.
The February 13-15 event is being jointly organized by Malabar Chamber of Commerce, CITI 2.0 (Calicut Innovation and Technology Initiative) and Kozhikode Government Cyberpark and CAFIT (Calicut Forum for IT), among others. To be held at the Calicut Trade Center, KTX Global 2025 will feature 125 speakers and more than 6,000 delegates.
The functonaries at the curtain-raiser ceremony in the weekend included Malabar Chamber of Commerce President Nityananda Kamath, CITI 2.0 Chairman Ajayan K. Anat, General Secretary Anil Balan, Government Cyberpark General Manager Vivek Nair, CAFIT President Abdul Gafoor K.V. and MM Active Associate Vice President Manjunatha Reddy.
With ‘Beyond Borders, Kerala’s Digital Pathway to the Future’ as the theme, KTX Global 2025 aims to initiate activities to establish a center of excellence in cybersecurity in Kozhikode.
The areas of emphasis for KTX 2025 are artificial intelligence, machine learning, cyber security, cloud computing, electronics and semiconductors, AR/VR, space tech, electric mobility and AVGC-XR. Special sessions include Startup Pitching, Innovation Showcase, Tech Talent Hunt, Women in Tech, G2G, and B2B.
