The future of electronics industry is focusing on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) from the design perspective to ensure conformity in products, a leading expert said here today .
Technical design aspects and selection of components were important for the electronics industry, said Praveen Karthickeyan, Field Applications Engineer, Wurth Elektronik.
He was addressing a day-long technical seminar ‘EMC for You’ on EMC & Filtering Components at Maker Village, Kinfra Hi-Tech Park, Kochi. The seminar was organized by Maker Village in association with Wurth Elektronik, a leading manufacturer of electronic and electromechanical components in Europe.
Deepak Chadha, Country Manager, Wurth Elektronik, spoke about the manufacturing of electronic and electromechanical components. The seminar was designed with practical content for those who encounter EMC Testing, Hardware design, Quality Analysis and key decision-makers on practical content in the development of trouble-free electronics.
Around 100 delegates from various start-up companies participated in the seminar. An exhibition of electronic components to take care of the EMC in a product design was also held as part of the seminar.
The Wurth delegates from Germany made a video presentation and gave an in-depth information about their electronic products. On the occasion, Wurth Elektronik launched three new power modules of very small size into the Indian market.
