THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Networkz Systems, a pioneer in the field of IT training, has announced an innovative competition to discover skillful students from campuses and reward the young nurturing talents in the arena of education. The competition is open to Engineering/Polytechnic/Arts/Science students.
Titled Skill Connect 2017, the competition has been endorsed by the Networkz Systems brand for the past 3 years, and has been positioned as a spinning tool for upcoming professionals in the turf of information technology.
Students from Engineering, Polytechnic, Arts & Science with specialization on Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Computer Hardware & Maintenance, BCA, MCA, B COM, BA, BSC related streams from 1st year to final year are eligible to take part in the Skill Connect 2017 competition. The first round will be conducted in colleges across Kerala and Tamil Nadu, as an online and offline examination.
The top 10% students from each college will be selected for Round 2, which will be directly conducted online in the respective colleges and Networkz Systems branches. Among the entire second round participants the top scorer will be announced as the ultimate winner.
According to Alagar Rajan. C, Executive Director of Networkz Systems, ‘Skill Connect 2017’ is a competition that will be a turning point for upcoming graduates and under graduates in the field of IT & ITES. Through this competition, we envision to find out the upbeat, talented minds from the campuses and give away prizes to them. Apart from colleges in Kerala, this year we are also welcoming more colleges from Tamil Nadu for participation.
“We are planning to conduct this event in all prestigious campuses. ‘Skill Connect 2017’ has the potential to increase the dexterity and buoyancy of students and make them understand where they stand now and where they have to improve to perform better,”
Chackochen Mathai, Director – Business Development, Networkz Systems, added. The Winner of Skill Connect 2017 will be rewarded with cash money of Rs 20,000. All the final round participants will also be awarded Rs 16,000 worth of course vouchers.
The course voucher can be redeemed by the participant at any of Networkz Systems’ direct branches in Kerala and Tamil Nadu to learn IT & ITES courses. Each college topper will get a branded wrist watch and the college will be awarded with a trophy as a token of appreciation.
