

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The North Zone team of engineering students from Colleges in north Kerala has become the winners of Mu Onam competitions which was held as part of the largest digital Onam celebrations in the state.
Central and South zones came second and third in the five-day event which brought together 5,000 students from 154 engineering colleges from across the state. Various digital competitions were conducted in Mamankam, Thalam and Ashwamedham categories during the event which was concluded on Monday.
Mu Onam was organised by Group of Technology Companies (GTech), the industry body of IT companies in Kerala. UST, Alokin Software, FAYA Innovations, GENPRO Research and Softnotions Technologies were also supported the event. Gtech’s Mu Learn has announced an ideation competition for students. Students can propose and pitch ideas which can provide a viable solution to socio-economic issues. Registration deadline is August 30. The winners will get rewards and the winning idea will also be implemented in scale by Gtech’s Mulearn platform.
