Indian Concrete Institute’s chapter at College of Engineering, Trivandrum (CET) in association with Silver Line project of Kerala Rail Development Corporation, is conducting all-India inter-collegiate technical competition called Pantheon 6.0 at CET campus on January 24 and 25.

Pantheon 6.0 is a highly sought after inter-collegiate technical competition exclusively for Civil Engineering students from all over India, helmed by the ICI CET students’ chapter in association with ICI Trivandrum Chapter. The event is conceived to motivate engineering students of the tasks awaiting them for building a better future, overcoming varied social and technological challenges of the time. As part of the event, a hackathon named “Unleash the Rails” is also being organised to pitch the ideas that can boost efficiency, improve affordability and accessibility to all sections of the society in Semi High Speed Rail. ‘Unleash the Rail’ will be a hackathon, based on SHSR, named as Silver Line. K-Rail will make a presentation on Silver Line, expecting the participants to pitch ideas that can boost efficiency, improve affordability and accessibility to all sections of the society in Semi High Speed Rail.

Six teams coming out with brilliant ideas will enter the 24-hour hackathon. Each team will be given 10 minutes for presentation on 25th January from 12.30pm onwards, which will be evaluated by K-Rail experts. Seen as a game-changer that will fast track life and economy of Kerala, Silver Line is progressing fast.

The event is also meant to spread awareness on engineering ethics and skill development through various programmes which will unite every single person cutting across caste, creed or colour.
