The Passing out ceremony of 13 th batch of B. Tech Marine Engineering and 5 th batch of M. Tech Marine Engineering students of Kunjali Marakar School of Marine Engineering(KMSME), Cochin University of Science and Technology was held on virtual platform.
M.P. John, Director, KMSME, CUSAT presided and Prof.(Dr.) K.A. Simon, former Director, was the Chief Guest while Prof. N.Gangadharan Nair, former Course-in-Charge, was the Guest of honour. Merit certificates to the academic toppers were issued during the function. This year ten cadets of B. Tech Marine Engineering secured ‘first class with distinction’ and thirty-four cadets secured ‘first class’.
Twenty-seven cadets of the outgoing batch are already placed in different leading shipping companies and the placement process for other cadets are in progress. The programme was telecasted live on YouTube (link https://www.videostream.co.in/passing-out-ceremony).
