  • PharmEasy Aims to Uplift India’s Wellness Ecosystem with its Week of Wellness Initiative

By NE Reporter on October 19, 2021

    KOCHI:
PharmEasy, one of India’s leading platforms for healthcare solutions, aims to build a more holistic approach towards wellness for its customers in their journey of achieving good health. PharmEasy has evolved from being just a medicine providing platform to a wellness partner by building a sustainable healthcare ecosystem. This initiative is based on the belief that doing so would give its consumers 360-degree wellness support.

This month, PharmEasy’s ‘Week of Wellness’ initiative (23rd – 31st Oct) is giving its users a chance to enhance their health quotient and lifestyle through significant discounts on medicines, lab tests and healthcare essentials. The initiative strives to meet the demands of every consumer via Express Delivery, which facilitates 4-hour delivery for the convenience of its users. PharmEasy has launched its Express Delivery (4-hour delivery) in cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Indore, Jaipur & Lucknow among others.

With this paradigm shift to overall healthcare and wellness, PharmEasy has come up with several initiatives, including, but not limited to, hosting a free diabetes community on Facebook which facilitates users to interact with registered medical practitioners; partnering with SARVA Yoga for achieving better ailment management through alternative Yoga therapies and better living.

As part of the initiative, PharmEasy has set its foot in providing an experience to its customers and helping them take a step towards their wellness and build a healthy ecosystem, by partnering with SARVA Yoga. Through this evolutionary partnership, PharmEasy will extend a 3-month SARVA membership to its customers in a phased-out manner. This involves the opportunity to learn 25 forms of Yoga, focusing on goals like losing weight, managing ailments through Yoga, managing pain and learning mindfulness from the finest yoga instructors trained from authentic Yoga schools in Rishikesh.

PharmEasy platform through its Facebook community initiative, Ease Diabetes with PharmEasy, hosts third-party registered medical practitioners, wherein members can look forward to weekly LIVE sessions with diabetes experts, dieticians, LIVE yoga sessions, and doctor-verified information related to diabetes. Currently, the said community is 9k+ strong and growing every day. Without question, PharmEasy is on a mission to transform India’s health and wellness quotient.

Regarding the initiatives, Saumil Parekh, VP Marketing at PharmEasy, said, “We are very much focused on making PharmEasy a holistic platform that will help enrich our users’ wellness journey. Be it physical support via delivery of medicines, healthcare essentials and lab tests or enhancing mental well-being via partnerships and new initiatives, we’ve got our users covered. With our Week of Wellness initiative, we will strive to make affordable healthcare accessible to one and all. People with diabetes are our largest user base, and there couldn’t have been a better opportunity to help them achieve a healthier lifestyle than through our initiatives like the Ease Diabetes community or our partnership with SARVA as a part of the Week of Wellness initiative. We believe in Simplifying Healthcare and Impacting Lives, and this partnership is a further commitment to this belief.”

Speaking about this, Sarvesh Shashi, Founder, SARVA, said, “SARVA has been built on the basis of incredible expertise in the fields of yoga and mindfulness. Our aim is to empower customers and enable them to live a healthier and happier lifestyle outside the dependence on medications. Through this collaboration with PharmEasy, we are bringing the age-old wisdom and practice of yoga, right to the living rooms of the users. Our aim is to make everyone realize that while medicines serve as a necessary cure, yoga and mindfulness are preventive techniques which can help them by aiding their recovery and avoid further ailments in the future.”

PharmEasy’s efforts towards building a wellness environment do true justice to the company’s beliefs and values while striving to make a difference in the people’s lives and disrupting the world for a better tomorrow.
