The realigned Indira Gandhi Road in Willingdon Island will be opened for vehicular traffic from 21 st September 2017. The old road from CIFT Junction upto old workshop will be closed as the area is being handed over to Cochin Shipyard Ltd. for development of International Ship Repair Facility.
