Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, Kakkanad has been approved as a Research centre by the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The formal inauguration of the Ph.D programmes at RS
Already 17 scholars have enrolled for Ph.D at RSET of which 10 are in Mathematics, 6 in Electronics and 1 in electrical engineering. At present there are 11 recognized research guides among the RSET faculty members. Emphasis will be given for research in A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technological University, told Prof.(Dr.) Kuncheriya P. Issac, Vice Chancellor. Similar Research Centres will be opened under the university and will also try to attract more research scholars by simplifying the procedures, he added.
