  • RICS School of Built Environment Announces Beginning of the New Session 2020

By NE Reporter on August 28, 2020

    NEW DELHI:
RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University will commence the academic session 2020-21 for the batch of new students in their Noida & Mumbai campus in online mode on September 1st, 2020.

The University has announced 1st September 2020 as the date to begin their new session. RICS SBE is geared up and prepared to comply with current regulatory directives to conduct sessions online till it is permitted to have the students physically present on campus in Noida and Mumbai.

The institution has all the required infrastructure in place to welcome students on campus, however currently, in conformance to the government directive, the classes will be held online. Later, once the government allows on-campus running of classes for the education institutions, the classes will shift to an on-campus face to face mode.

Faculty members at RICS SBE have been delivering online teaching with the existing batches since the start of the pandemic. The institution has invested significantly in the technology solutions to ensure the learning progress of our existing students does not get impacted. Students experience learning through various digital tools alongwith virtual labs to acquire the practical part of the learning. While RICS SBE is ready with detailed SOP to conduct the regular classroom sessions, it has incorporated different pedagogy modes which are popular in many international education institutions.

As we are living through uncertain times and everything seems to be crouched in a veil of ambiguity, students had no clarity about several issues, while some were anxious to find out when new sessions would begin, the others wanted some different queries addressed. While the classes for the returning batch have already started a few weeks ago, now there is palpable excitement at the thought of welcoming the new set of students to the RICS SBE family.

Commenting on the beginning of the new session, Ashwani Awasthi, Managing Director, RICS School of Built Environment, says “It’s good to know that students of our
ongoing batches are very happy with the quality of our online class mode and the willingness and availability of the teachers to help them when they need it; but we are eager to shift back to the traditional face to face system and as soon as the government considers it safe, which may be soon, we will move to the face to face on campus classes”.

The announcement of the beginning of a new session means that the admission process is closing soon as there are only limited seats available. The high standard of education imparted at RICS SBE and globally accredited degrees offered here have ensured that most of the seats are already filled and only a few are left, so if you haven’t yet completed your application please do so immediately.

Additionally, the seats are also filling up fast as many students realize that it is futile to look for a job in a battered global economy. In the current scenario, it is better to study now and upskill yourself so that by the time the economy recovers you are in the right place to get good job offers.

During the last few days of admissions there is always a surge of applications. Those students who have already completed their application forms can call on +91-847 101 1011 right away to make the payment to secure their seat.  Students will be kept updated via email and SMS on any issues that are related to admissions.
Please feel free to call +91-847 101 1011 to speak to our counsellor.
