Sachin Tendulkar has a fabulous Diwali surprise for his young fans. Hachette India has published ‘’Chase Your Dreams’’, an adaptation of his blockbuster autobiography ‘’Playing It My Way’’ exclusively targeted at children and young adults.
‘’Playing It My Way’’ has sold over 230,000 copies and is the highest selling hardback title by an Indian author. ‘’Chase Your Dreams’’ is the first children’s version of an autobiography by an Indian Sportsperson. ‘’Chase Your Dreams’’ tells the inspiring story of India’s greatest cricketer through simple prose, call-outs, inspirational notes and comic visuals. The illustrations enable children to experience some of the defining moments in Sachin’s illustrious career.
Speaking about on the release of ‘’Chase Your Dreams’’, Sachin Tendulkar said, ‘’I would like to wish everybody a very Happy Diwali. I have always enjoyed interacting with children as the future belongs to them. I am delighted that Hachette India has adapted my autobiography to make it easy for children to comprehend and relate better. I hope children will enjoy reading the book and be encouraged to pursue their dreams.’’
The book is now available for pre-order and will be published nationwide on October 25, 2017.
