  • Sagin Augustine with ‘101 Homemade Wine Recipes’

    KOTTAYAM:
    The book ‘101 Home Made Wines’ is authored by Sagin Augustine, assistant professor at the St. Joseph’s Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Pala. This book is the result of detailed experiments on how to make delicious wines using different ingredients, which are easily available in nature as well as inexpensive.

    In the function held at the College Auditorium, Rev. Dr. Geo Thadikkatt, Vicar of St. Sebastian’s Forane Church, Thodupuzha released the book ‘101 Home Made Wines’. Fr. Jacob Puthiyarambil, Director, St. Joseph’s Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, HODs Alexander Zacharias, Shaila Mathews were also present at the function.

    Recipes for wine from 21 different categories of fruits, flowers, spices, vegetables and herbs are available in this book. The book clearly explains how to make wine in a very simple and easy way, the ingredients to be considered when making wine, the ratio of ingredients to wine, and the common pitfalls while making wine.

    This book is for those who are interested in making healthy homemade wines and house wife. DC Books is its publisher.
