  • Trinity SkillWorks Partners with MeritTrac Services to Provide Industry-relevant Courses

By NE Reporter on August 20, 2020

    THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Trinity SkillWorks, a leading facilitator for placement and upskilling services to colleges, has partnered withMeritTrac Services to provide the latter’s sought-after online courses as a subscription pack to 1400 colleges in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The collaboration aims to provide colleges with easy access to quality courses delivered by experts that cover industry-relevant content in an effort to promote employability of students.

The subscription pack is an amalgamation of 50+ courses across IT & business skills. Students can master the field of their choice, be it app programming, Cloud computing, analytics, digital marketing, finance, IT, operations and more. With 24×7 access to the Manipal ProLearn portal, students can learn at their convenience. Also, certification from Manipal ProLearn on completion of courses will further bolster their resume.

Speaking on the occasion, Ambrish Sinha, CEO, MeritTrac Services, said,“When a student is exploring a career path, their options should not be restricted because of a limited curriculum. Having worked with the higher education ecosystem, we’ve identified the skills gap challenge between the job-ready candidates businesses require and the knowledge higher education institutions are imparting. Our partnership with Trinity SkillWorks aims to bridge that gap by making industry-relevant courses easily accessible to colleges. While the subscription pack will enable the student to explore several skills, our Extended Curriculum Program will enable them to excel in a particular domain along with life skills. The career guidance will make them ready for the corporate or entrepreneurial world. It is a holistic approach and an ecosystem that colleges should definitely explore to improve the employability quotient of their students.”

KM Subhash, Founder and CEO of Trinity Skill Works, said“In line with our vision to be India’s leading facilitator for augmenting employability, we’re excited to take MeritTrac’s courses to colleges in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Apart from these courses being meticulously designed to prepare students for real world challenges, it’s a great addition to any college’s curriculum. ECP in particular will exponentially benefit partner institutions with not only industry-relevant courses, but also provide career assistance and life skills to students, higher average salaries, a stronger alumni base and accreditation.”

MeritTrac recently launched their Extended Curriculum Program (ECP) which aims at providing colleges and universities access to specially designed full semester elective courses, live expert-led sessions by industry experts, and career assistance to graduating students.
