

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (KCMMF), known by brand Milma, has contributed Rs 50 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF) in the backdrop the devastating landslide that struck Chooralmala and Mundakkai in Wayanad district, claiming over 200 lives washing off the entire area.
The contribution includes Rs 20 lakhs provided by the Malabar Regional Cooperative Milk Producers Union (MRCMPU) and Rs 10 lakh each by KCMMF, TRCMPU and ERCMPU.
Minister for Dairy Development and Animal Husbandry J Chinchurani, Milma Chairman K S Mani, Thiruvananthapuram Regional Cooperative Milk Producers Union (TRCMPU) Chairman Mani Viswanadh and Ernakulam Regional Milk Producers Union (ERCMPU) Chairman M T Jayan handed over the cheque for the amount to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at his chamber.
