The WittyFeed Journey – Wittyfeed’s genesis lies in the hugely popular Facebook page – Amazing Things in the World. The page was started by WittyFeed’s Vinay Singhal – CEO and Shashank Vaishnav – CTO; while they were in college. When the page garnered 4.2 million followers, the duo realized it was time to monetize the audience. From here the idea of an integrating platform took shape and WittyFeed.com – Vatsana Technologies’ most successful product was born in September 2014 at Indore, MP. The company now operates out of a swanky office located in the heart of Indore, with a young yet extremely dedicated team of 80 members.
The platform started out very small with barely a hundred thousand users but has quickly built up its user base. It has an audience reach of a Billion and gets 120 million unique readers every month. Today WittyFeed is 50 million site visits ahead of its closest Indian rival Scoopwhoop. In March 2016, WittyFeed had 420 million page views and 2.5 billion ad impressions.
WittyFeed started out with only its owners’ Facebook content but has since diversified into a 18 categories including travel, inspiration, relationships, health & fitness and celebrities. It has 21000 stories by 200 writers from across the globe to back its claim. The leadership analyses and incorporates changes every 15 days.
