The Five-day National Workshop on”Graphs and complex networks’ (WGCN – 2020) organized by CUSAT Department of Computer Applications was inaugurated by Dr. K.N. Madhusoodanan.
Vice Chancellor highlighted the importance of the interdisciplinary research incorporating the newly emerging technology called Quantum computing. Dr. M.K. Sabu, Head, Department of Computer Applications presided over the meeting.
Dr K. Ajitha, Registrar, Dr. Animesh Mukherjee, Associate Professor at IIT Kharagpur, Dr. B Kannan, Professor, Department of Computer Applications spoke at the function. The workshop aims to provide scholarly and practical awareness to researchers and students by combining mathematics, computer theory, and network science. Experts from various institutes like Kharagpur IIT and Chennai Mathematical Institute will lead various sessions.
