Workshop on Data Science at CUSAT

KOCHI:
A five day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on ‘Data Science’, organized jointly by School of Management Studies (SMS) and AICTE, was inaugurated by CUSAT Vice Chancellor Dr. K.N. Madhusoodanan. Dr. D. Mavooth, Director, SMS presided and Dr. Santhosh Kumar, Co-ordinator spoke. This programme focuses on detailed discussions on the feasibilities and opportunities of data science in the new era. 200 participants including academicians, researchers and representatives of industry are attending the five day programme led by eminent scholars from different allied areas. The workshop will conclude on 11 th January.
